In class we discussed several ideation methods of which we can choose and stimulate our brains into an idea space. In class we worked on mind maps together in order to get used to doing it alone. I will use this technique myself in order to get the details of my own idea hashed out.
In this mind map I attempted to focus on ideas around the future use of AI, with the AI market being so small at the moment I decided its the best route to take in generating an idea as it seemed like a lot of its uses are uncharted enabling me to dig into depths previously undelved. I found this exercise to be a good place to obtain areas I needed to look into for the discovery phase of my project and also get ideas down for potential features of my app.
I went further into ideation using mind maps on a piece of software called whimsical, i learned about this software during my placement and became proficient with its use so i decided to use it wherever i could through-out the project for mind mapping userflows and wireframing.
